The aim of this course is to assist you under workplace conditions and can be used as evidence for those wishing to be assessed for the qualification.  It will allow you time to practice and give you the confidence you will need in your new career.

Subjects Covered

  • Setting out and finishing archways
  • Setting out carved walls bull noses, irregular and obtuse angles
  • Setting out and application of ashlar panels. (Optional)
  • Introduction to the trade of fibrous plastering ie., running and fixing of moulded cornices. (Optional)

The advance course provides both continuity and practical experience under supervision.  It will allow you time to practice and give you the confidence to complete the last phase and to take your skills into your chosen career.
