The 5 day Intermediate course will include the following elements:

  • Application of bell beads, sand and cement scratch coats to block and brick walls and make ready for floating coat.
  • Applying floating coats and finishes.
  • Application of all types of render.
  • Setting out and laying of floor screeds.
  • Lining wall and reveals with plasterboard using the technique of Dot and Dab.
  • Setting out beams and piers.
  • Also covers remaining NVQ units VR67, VR64, plus optional units VR69, VR70, VR71.
